Useful inputs include motor power, speed, voltage, phase, enclosure, ambient temperature, mounting arrangement, start frequency, load profile, preferred drive family and any IEC, UL, CE or ATEX documentation need.
For a new OEM platform, include the expected production region, supply voltage options, maximum ambient temperature and whether the machine will use constant torque, variable torque or sensorless vector control. For a retrofit, include a photo of the nameplate, shaft and mounting arrangement if available. These details help TECO compare the existing motor against IE3 or IE4 alternatives and identify whether an A510 or E510 drive should be reviewed with braking, reactor or enclosure notes.
Quotation responses are written for engineering use rather than generic sales follow-up. A typical reply can include frame recommendation, kW and RPM confirmation, efficiency class, VFD pairing note, certificate references, open questions and the documents needed before release to purchasing. If the project has a shutdown window, share the target delivery date and any spare motor requirement so channel support can check practical availability.
When an application involves high inertia, long cable runs, frequent starts or a dusty enclosure, note it clearly in the message. Those conditions can change the recommended protection settings, cable practices and bearing review, even when the nameplate power looks straightforward.
